Bio

Kristy and her husband Jeff were married in 2016, and they quickly learned that their “road to baby” would be long, winding, and full of twists and turns.  After 3 ½  years of heartbreak, they were weeks away from exploring alternative ways to build their family when they had learned that their “one last time” was successful.  They were fortunate enough to welcome their rainbow baby, Makena, to the world in August 2020.  They realize that not every story has this outcome, and they know wholeheartedly how lucky they are.  They want to share their joy, be honest about their struggles, and give hope to the 1 in 8 couples that are walking their own “road to rainbow.”
